"Shameless" is most likely the story of Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy), that alcoholic father for six smart kids, whom might be better off not having him. It is left to this eldest daughter Fiona (Rossum) to get through the family and ensure the bills are usually paid so the kids get the basics of life: food, lights and gas. Along the way, Fiona hooks up along with Steve (Chatwin) to get a little fun.
"It doesn't sound right which the character would wear a bra as well as care at all about what she seems like whenever she's having sex," Rossum shared with the magazine. "Sex is meant to feel great, and she really wants to feel great. Her life is really shitty in numerous ways. Some persons use alcohol, many people use gambling--and some people use sex."
Rossum likewise likes it, though, whenever the clothes stay on.
"We pretty much get no hair or makeup at all," she said. "They frizz out my hair a little and rub mascara around my eyes, and that's it. I love the no-vanity part ofit. It's really liberating from having had so many years of period costume drama."
In a recent Esquire feature, Rossum showed off that new raunchy side, by wearing some revealing lingerie and sharing with dirty jokes.
