The CW is keeping a very tight lid on stills so as not to spoil the Season 2 finale of The Vampire Diaries. However, they have provided these five stills as well as a synopsis. Nothing, is overwhelmingly new. [Possible Spoilers] It seems that the “Klaus” episode this week will be mostly filler and back story. However, it will serve as a springboard to reignite the rivalry between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) over Elena (Nina Dobrev).
It appears that Alaric will regain his body since Joseph Morgan will guest-star as Klaus. There’s nothing much mentioned about Bonnie in this episode. However, the CW has also released some stills that we’ll be posting soon for episode 2.21, “The Sun Also Rises,” which focus more on Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen). Tyler will be returning to town. However, it’s unclear whether Salvatore’s band of Klaus haters called him or Matt (Zach Roerig) and his new buddy Sheriff Liz (Marguerite MacIntyre).
Previously on The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Episode 18: The Last Dance, the high school got ready for a 1960s-themed dance and other-worldly beings received alarming messages from Klaus thru an unknown, mysterious source. Bonnie tried to convince Jeremy that she has enough strength and endurance in order to help Elena, yet Jeremy who was concerned sought advice from Stefan. Caroline convinced Matt to pair up with her to the dance. On the other hand, Damon and Alaric attended the dance in the guise of chaperons, while expecting Klaus to show up anyway. but then Klaus has his own mind games and set forth to keep them guessing. More importantly, Damon came up with a new plan which surprised and upset everybody, including the other beings.
